What is the priority? Thatís the question of the day at Playa San Martin Beach. To rest and take some sun? To walk the length of the beach alone or with your lover? Or perhaps to visit the venerable ruins at the nearby Buena Vista ancient historical site. The pleasure of slow decisions is top of mind at this beach.

A very decent restaurant and beach bar are located beachside at Playa San Martin Beach, offering seafood, Mexican specialties, burgers and ice-cold beer. Beer is served right on the beach, a chilly refreshment on the hot sand.

The beach affords large thatched beach umbrellas with comfortable chairs and beach loungers; itís an idyllic spot to laze away an afternoon and commands little more than your senses. The restaurant serves picnic meals on the beach, enabling visitors to eschew all forms of responsibility and just relax while others do the work. Bliss!

The sand here tends to be a little grainy and there is often seaweed decorating the water at the shoreline, but that is not a bother when the balance of things are beyond perfection. Be windward and let the eastern sun rise on your morning, make your day start right, right here.

If sunbathing and sitting in the gentle surf are pastimes with limits, you can enjoy a horseback ride along the shoreline, especially lovely at dusk. Youíll find Playa San Martin Beach to be a complete escape with an enviable way of making you feel your solitude while being at ease in a group. Itís just that kind of beach.
